PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has approved appointment of 1,299 medical officers in the health department on an emergency basis to deal with the corona patients.
The chief minister signed a summary moved by health department to this effect. The newly-appointed MOs of the health department KP will resume their duties next week and be posted in different health service delivery outlets across the province.
In a statement issued here, Chief minister Mahmood Khan vowed to further strengthen the health service deliver system on war footings to enable it successfully deal with the emerging situation of Covid-19 , stating that all the resources in hand will be utilized to this end.
